Offering a unique insight to Persian culture, combined with authentic flavours and delivered by Anar’s chefs, the award-winning restaurant’s pop-up in Abu Dhabi will be welcoming guests for dinner from 14 to 20 November 2021.
Abu Dhabi residents and guests can look forward to an exciting pop-up experience celebrating Persian culture and cuisine. Based in Dubai, Anar has been a favourite amongst the UAE’s residents for over 16 years and in collaboration with Shangri-La Hotel, Anar will be bringing a unique Persian dining experience to Abu Dhabi from 6 to 11 p.m. from 14 to 20 November 2021.
The food at Anar (meaning pomegranate from the Persian language) is not just about spices or methods, it is a cross-roads of ideas, culture, traditions and passion that narrate the opulent story of the Persian empire. Recipes, perfected by the restaurant’s chefs to craft quintessential dishes, are rich with intense and unique flavours featuring the finest ingredients sourced from the Persian region.

Throughout the week, guests will have an opportunity to experience a specially curated A La Carte menu featuring the restaurant’s favourites such as their signature Kababs, Zareshk Polow, Kashk-o-Bademjan, a variety of lamb based dishes and more.
A sharing Persian degustation menu will also be available presenting a selection of authentic starters, stews, kebabs and desserts for AED498 for 2 persons, including a grape drink pairing.
Moreover, on Thursday, 18 November 2021, Abu Dhabi foodies are invited to join an exclusive one-off Anar grape dinner where guests will enjoy flavourful menu with a touch of luxury paired with fine Mediterranean grape drinks for AED400 per person.
