In honour of Emirati Women’s Day on 28 August, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental will mark the occasion with a curated programme of cultural, culinary and wellness experiences, inviting guests to reflect on the legacy, creativity and strength of Emirati women. Qasr Al Hosn and House of Artisans Pop-Up
As part of the day’s celebrations, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental will host a special pop-up in collaboration with Qasr Al Hosn and House of Artisans, bringing the richness of Emirati craftsmanship into the heart of the hotel. Taking place on 28 August beneath the Grand Dome, the activation invites guests to experience traditional dukhoon and perfume making through live demonstrations and interactive workshops led by Emirati artisans.
Live demonstrations will run from 12 to 6pm, with a perfume marash making workshop from 1 to 2pm, followed by a dukhoon making session from 3 to 4pm. Using natural ingredients such as sandalwood, oud and rose, each workshop celebrates the heritage and creativity of Emirati women, with participants invited to take home their own handmade creations.

Flavours to Celebrate and Savour
Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental invites guests to celebrate Emirati Women’s Day with special dining experiences across its signature restaurants, including Episodes, Martabaan, Talea, Broadway and Lebanese Terrace.
Episodes invites guests to indulge in a graceful Afternoon Tea beneath a canopy of soft cherry blossoms, served from 2 to 6pm, 27 to 29 August. The occasion unfolds with an elegant spread of delicate sandwiches, freshly baked scones and exquisite desserts, priced at AED 245 per person. Highlights include saffron lobster brioche, red pepper and rose harissa profiterole, veal harees croquette and lamb margoogat crowned with a whisper of saffron air. On 28 and 29 August, Emirati ladies will be welcomed with a complimentary small macaron box and the signature mocktail Lady Flamingo, a fragrant blend of rose tea, the gentle nuttiness of hazelnut and the sweet allure of lychee, inspired by a timeless love for rose-infused tea.

Lebanese Terrace welcomes guests with a four-course set menu priced at AED 250 per person, available from 12 to 11pm, 27 to 29 August. Emirati women will receive a complimentary welcome drink and a single rose upon arrival, adding a personalised touch to the experience. The menu features an enticing selection of cold mezze such as eggplant moutabal, hummus with meat and vine leaves, alongside hot mezze like vegetable falafel and chicken liver. For mains, guests can enjoy options including mixed grill and golden meat arrayes, followed by a sweet finish with desserts like mixed baklawa, umm ali and local luqaimat.
Martabaan by Hemant Oberoi offers a complimentary welcome drink and dessert for all Emirati women dining from 12 to 11pm, 27 to 29 August. The à la carte menu showcases the restaurant’s signature take on contemporary Indian cuisine. Guests will be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink crafted from rose molasses, lime juice, ginger oxymel and rose lemonade, followed by a delicate dessert featuring chhena, cream, saffron and nuts.

Talea by Antonio Guida invites guests to enjoy a celebratory three-course dinner menu for AED 350 per person. Served from 6:30 to 11pm, 27 to 29 August, the offering reflects the Michelin-starred restaurant’s take on family-style Italian cuisine, prepared with authentic ingredients and time-honoured techniques. The menu features comforting specialities such as barbabietola with roasted beetroot, yuzu, and almonds, ravioli della Valtellina with buckwheat cabbage and pecorino sage and mimosa sponge cake with lemon diplomat cream. Guests will also receive a complimentary welcome drink, Royal Zest, a luxurious blend of organic chamomile tea infused with cardamom, saffron honey syrup and citrus, inspired by the grace and heritage of Emirati women.

Broadway Brasserie & Bar celebrates the occasion with a vibrant four-course dinner menu served from 3pm to 1am, 27 to 29 August. Priced at AED 275 per person, the experience includes a complimentary craft mocktail and captures the spirit of Broadway through cuisine and creativity. The menu features bold and expressive dishes such as organic carrot salad, octopus carpaccio, grilled rosemary corn-fed chicken, wild seabass with potato lyonnaise and clam chowder, wild mushroom ravioli and chocolate tart.

Wellness Inspired by Nature and Ritual
Throughout the month of August, from 10am to 9pm, The Spa at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental invites guests to experience the two-hour Oriental Rose Hammam ritual for AED 1,300. The experience includes a rose petal and lavender black soap cleanse, Kessa exfoliation, rhassoul body and hair mask, rose water rinse and a nourishing argan oil finish. This is followed by a 60-minute lithotherapy massage using rose quartz, designed to balance energy and promote relaxation. Guests will also receive a complimentary bottle of Rose Water Mist to continue their ritual at home.
Movement That Empowers
From 27 to 29 August, Lagree Ladies’ Pilates offers complimentary high-intensity, low-impact sessions from 10 to 11am. The class combines Pilates, strength training and cardio using the signature microformer. In-house guests, lifestyle members and day pass holders are all welcome and mothers can enjoy peace of mind with a complimentary day pass for their children at Kids Palace during the session.
From 27 to 30 August, women booking tennis or the padel court will receive a 10 percent discount. The offer is valid exclusively for female guests making bookings on these dates, encouraging moments of camaraderie, activity and celebration. Standard rates apply to sessions rescheduled outside the promotional period.
