Saadiyat Public Beach – A Perfect Beach Getaway in Abu Dhabi

Enjoy the fabulous views and relax on a sun lounger soaking up the sun.

The white sand and calm waters of Saadiyat Public Beach make it one of the most desirable beaches to visit in Abu Dhabi all year round.

This is the only beach on the Island actually open to the public, for a fee of AED 25 for adults and AED 15 for kids you get to enjoy the beach with your own sun lounger and umbrella.

Saadiyat Beach is home to the Hawksbill Turtles which use the beach as their nesting ground. Hatching sites are protected by strict environmental measures and are patrolled by trained personnel who continually monitor the reproduction of the turtles.

The team that manages the beach is dedicated to preserving the natural environment with a dune protection zone with restrictions on development while access to the beach made possible via a wooden boardwalk.

Activities

From beach yoga classes to eco-friendly water sports activities such as windsurfing and sailing, guests can make the most out of their beach experience with the help of the attentive staff.

Also nearby is the Saadiyat Reef which is considered one of the best places for snorkeling and scuba diving in Abu Dhabi.

Saadiyat Beach and the island at large is filled with native wildlife. One of the best things to do at Saadiyat Island is visiting the Hawksbill Turtles’ hatching site. If you’re lucky, you may even spot dolphins playing in the bay.

The beach offers ample parking with changing rooms, showers, retail shops and a café all set close to the beach with easy access.
