Set in its own special wing at the sprawling hotel with its own private entrance the Spa has a warm and inviting look, as you enter you are greeted cheerfully and the staff offer you a refreshing welcome drink made form Hibiscus as they check you in.
The spa comprises of 10 individually designed treatment rooms led by a team of expert therapists who conduct specialized treatments including aromatherapy massages, Dead Sea mud scrub and wraps, and balancing and refining facials that alone are worth a day-pass.
The Treatments
The Spa offers a Signature Himalayan Stone Healing treatment that uses pure Himalayan pink salt stones that is designed to detox and eliminate negative energy form your being and fill you with a warm flow of positive energy revitalizing your body and spirit.
The Ultimate Zen Hammam Treatment is another specialty, based on the classic Moroccan Hammam that includes an eucalypts black soap that deeply cleanses and purifies followed by an application of a soothing and rejuvenating full body mask. An Argan facial follows and a session of traditional stretching leaves you feeling cleansed and rejuvinated.
The couples message treatments are very popular designed to pamper and refresh both him and her in a specially equipped room with two separate massage areas. We tried the traditional Balinese massage that left us refreshed and rejuvinated.
After your treatments there is a special room for you to sit and relax and gather your thoughts over some herbal tea or a hot coffee, the atmosphere is very serene and we almost dozed off in these supremely comfortable loungers.
The Verdict
This is one of the best spas in Abu Dhabi with all natural products, excellent staff and a stunning ambiance. We loved the dark wooden tones of the treatment rooms which are designed to sooth and help you find your inner balance.
The staff is highly trained and attentive to all your needs with attention to detail and their skilled hands work magic, we will soon be coming back for more.
We would recommend making this a full day experience with a spa treatment in the morning followed by the iconic Market Brunch at the fabulous Sim Sim and then laze by the pool or the amazing beach for the rest of the afternoon.
