The Experience Team enjoys an evening of great food in an amazing setting in the heart of Abu Dhabi
The Experience Team embarked on a culinary journey at Stock Burger Co, nestled within The Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
The outdoor seating at Hubbly Bubbly set the stage for a delightful evening, providing a relaxed ambiance with its inviting atmosphere.
The Venue
The Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi is a perfect place to dine and stay for those living in Abu Dhabi or coming on business trips as its close to the airport and even closer to the exhibition centre. Home to Stock Burger and Sushi San, both highly acclaimed venues it definitely has it all.
Equipped as a sports bar and restaurant Stock Burger offers bar seating inside or on individual tables in the middle or if you want a bit of privacy the booths along the sides are perfect.
Now for the best part, Hubbly Bubbly, their outdoor patio area that is designed for privacy and set up with a huge screen and comfortable groupings of couches where you can spend hours enjoying the different flavours of shisha and enjoying the food and their super long happy hour drink deals.
The Food
We got a nice table outside and ordered our drinks while we decided on what to eat, we tried three flavours of Mojitos, the classic, strawberry and passion fruit and the best flavour was definitely the passion fruit version.
To kick off our culinary adventure, we delved into the SB sharing platter, a smorgasbord of Stock Burger Co’s popular starters. The combination was a symphony of flavours, with standout performances by the delectable tacos, wings, and jalapeno peppers. Each bite was a celebration of diverse tastes and textures.
Moving on to the mains, the Signature Smashed Burger emerged as a true star. The meat exuded great flavour, complemented by a perfectly seasoned, soft and sweet bun. The crisp lettuce and waffle potato fries proved to be the ideal accompaniment, creating a harmonious blend of savoury goodness.
The Ribeye Steak, featuring grass-fed beef from Australia, was a culinary masterpiece. Cooked to a perfect medium as requested, the steak sat on a bed of impeccably seasoned mash, and the peppercorn sauce added the finishing touch, elevating it to a gastronomic delight.
The Pan-Seared Seabass continued the culinary excellence, offering a flawless dish that showcased meticulous execution and delicate presentation, preserving the integrity of the flavours.
The dessert journey was a sweet indulgence, with the entire dessert menu making an appearance on our table. The chocolate brownie stole the spotlight with its warm, oozing chocolate goodness.
Following closely was the Tiramisu, a heavenly blend of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and velvety mascarpone. The Banana Split rounded off the feast, leaving us pleasantly stuffed.
The Verdict
Stock Burger Co at The Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi seamlessly combines delectable cuisine, inviting ambiance, and warm hospitality, making it a must-visit for both gastronomic enthusiasts and those seeking a memorable dining experience.
Beyond the culinary delights, the outdoor seating at Hubbly Bubbly, coupled with extended happy hours, added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.
The staff’s friendliness and attentive service created an atmosphere that felt akin to spending time with long-time friends.
Chef Rajesh definitely can do a great burger for sure and not to mention the steak. It was an amazing experience made more memorable by the friendly cheerfulness of Thusitha our server along with Chanda and Marie, thanks guys, much appreciated!
