Step Into the Wild This Eid Al Adha at Al Ain Zoo

Al Ain Zoo, one of the Middle East’s oldest and largest wildlife destinations, is set to bring the spirit of Eid Al Adha to life with an exciting line-up of limited-time experiences for the whole family. From vibrant cultural performances to immersive heritage activities, guests of all ages can enjoy a lively festive atmosphere surrounded by nature and wildlife across the Zoo.

From May 27 to 31, guests can explore Al Ain Zoo and get close to iconic wildlife including lions, cheetahs, gorillas, hippos and more, while immersing themselves in the spirit of Eid through traditional cultural experiences. Across the Zoo, visitors can enjoy live Ayala performances, oud and qanun musicians, henna artistry, majlis seating areas set within the Zoo’s gardens and a range of festive activities for the whole family.

Young guests can also look forward to a packed program of fun, including a special magic show, bouncy inflatables and face painting activities throughout the Eid celebrations. Children will also have the chance to spot Al Ain Zoo’s beloved giraffe and lion mascots and snap memorable photos during their visit.

For those wishing to add more flavor to their experience can try the once-in-a-lifetime ‘Breakfast with Giraffes’ experience, offering a truly unforgettable morning in a unique wildlife setting. Taking place every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, guests can enjoy breakfast alongside close-up encounters with the Zoo’s majestic giraffes. Priced at AED 252 per guest, the experience also includes entry to the Zoo.

Al Ain Zoo is more than just a destination; it is a sanctuary of life and learning. The Zoo aims to promote wildlife conservation and environmental sustainability through its breeding and conservation programs that have significantly contributed to preserving endangered species, while its ongoing research and educational initiatives inspire visitors to become enthusiastic advocates for wildlife conservation.

The Zoo operates from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, giving families plenty of time to enjoy the celebrations and explore the wildlife. Admission is AED 31.50 for adults, AED 10.50 for children aged 3 to 12, and free for children under 3.
