Prepare your Taste Buds for these Newly Opened Restaurants at Yas Bay Waterfront

Exciting, new dining options with an Asian flair added to Yas Island’s bustling waterfront destination

Yas Bay Waterfront welcomes two brand-new culinary gems – Bua Thai Café by Desert Lotus and NURI GRILL & BAR by Madang – to its unparalleled selection of diverse restaurants, just in time as the long-awaited winter season at Yas Island kicks off.

Yas Bay Waterfront, developed and managed by Miral, the leading creator of destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi and operated by Yas Asset Management, continues to cement its reputation as the city’s number one stop for exquisite dining and nightlife offerings, with a wide range of international culinary concepts and mix of licensed restaurants and lounges.

In addition to a selection of vibrant entertainment, guests can also enjoy leisure activities, wellness and lifestyle offerings, water sports and more.

Bua Thai Café by Desert Lotus

Buaban C. Tucker’s story began back in 2015 when a devastating earthquake hit Nepal, and she used her own kitchen to prepare food for those in dire need. Eight years later, Chef Buaban proudly unveils her second restaurant in Abu Dhabi following the success of her first venture, Desert Lotus.

Guests heading to Bua Thai Café by Desert Lotus can indulge in authentic Thai delights ranging from their signature pad thai to the refreshing sundae sticky mango rice.

Buaban C. Tucker, owner and chef of Bua Thai Café, said: “We are delighted to open our second restaurant in Abu Dhabi. Extreme attention to detail has been paid and we are very proud of how it turned out.”

Nuri Grill & Bar by Madang

NURI GRILL & BAR follows the success of its predecessor Madang Korean Restaurant, one of Masdar City’s iconic dining spots. The name ‘NURI’ beautifully signifies ‘light’ in Arabic and ‘world’ in Korean, reflecting their profound motto, ‘Where light meets the world’.

The newly opened restaurant, found on the ground floor at Hilton Abu Dhabi, Yas Island, is poised to create a symphony of sizzling steak artistry combined with the elegance of omakase dining.

Specialising in marbled steaks and wet-aged meat, NURI GRILL & BAR also presents a vibrant bar with an array of signature cocktails ranging from Haribo Soju with gummy bear flavours to Mango Soju with blends of sweet, tropical flavours.

Adding to the excitement, the venue will also have a private karaoke room, perfect for a night out with friends.

Anthony Barbosa, Operations Manager at TU Management, operators of NURI GRILL & BAR, said: “We are very pleased to welcome our newest addition to our growing restaurant chains, bringing in our expertise of luxurious Korean BBQ to the table along with the best fine dining restaurants in the capital.”

Bringing a wide range of international and award-winning culinary concepts, the dynamic mix of licensed restaurants and lounges nestled inside Yas Bay Waterfront will have something for everyone.
