Accessing the UAE capital’s myriad culinary experiences is now even easier for residents and tourists, after the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) announced the launch of the first-ever UAE-based Lonely Planet guide covering the emirate’s F&B scene.
Created in partnership with Abu Dhabi Culinary, The World of Cuisine Abu Dhabi has been designed to highlight the emirate’s best dining options, with the new Lonely Planet guide launched as part of Abu Dhabi Culinary Season, which features an array of incredible dining opportunities across the emirate until 9 December 2021.
Cementing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global leader in the culinary sphere, Lonely Planet’s The World of Abu Dhabi Cuisine includes a ‘where to’ style guide across a diverse menu of more than 100 culinary destinations, from an expansive fine dining scene to off-the-beaten-track hidden gems, from traditional Emirati venues to coffee and dessert hotspots.
The comprehensive guide also features a ‘need to know’ section which advises Abu Dhabi newcomers on customs and traditions relating to food. The guide is available for download here.
