THE HALLOWEEN NIGHT BRUNCH – THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28
Everyone in the UAE capital knows that COYA Abu Dhabi is the best place for a party. But this Halloween, the Peruvian hotspot is pulling out all the stops to present the most glamorous and incredibly exciting spooky brunch in the capital. Themed around the concept of ‘The Uncontacted Tribe’, the Halloween Night Brunch will transform the waterfront venue into an atmospheric hidden forest, encouraging guests to don their most eerie and creative outfits and indulge in an unforgettable night of elegant house beats, spooky mixed drinks and decadent dishes.
Kicking off on Thursday, October 28, the terrifying evening is inspired by the story of the Mashco-Piro tribe, the indigenous, nomadic hunter-gatherers who inhabit the remote regions of the Amazon rainforest. According to locals living in Peru’s Manú National Park, the previously hidden and secretive tribe has started to make itself known to the world and is doing so with a vengeance.
Now, it is rumoured that the infamous group has chosen to use COYA’s beautifully decorated restaurants as gateways to enter and take over some of the world’s most desirable cities, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, London and Paris. Determined to party all night long alongside any guests who is brave enough to join them, The Uncontacted Tribe are known to be taking the lives of anyone who gets in their way.
COYA Abu Dhabi is daring socialites from across the UAE and beyond to join them for a party of a lifetime, so long as they are willing to risk being sacrificed by the insatiable Mascho-Piro. Fuelling the fearsome party will be a curated menu of Latin American-inspired bites, including ceviches, maki rolls, sashimi, chicken baos, grilled tiger prawns, spicy beef fillet and more. Meanwhile, the charming COYA bar team will provide expertly crafted chilling beverages, such as Moscow mules and blood orange and chilli chilcanos, to ensure that spirits and energy levels remain high throughout the tribal gathering.
COYA’s Musical Director, Stephane Petit and COYA resident DJs have curated a special mix of fear-inducing beats to help lure party goers into the enticing forest, while the sets from Rogerio and Eva Voytko and stylish decorations will transform each and every guest over to the otherworldly realm of these ancient Peruvian hunters.
The Halloween Night Brunch at COYA Abu Dhabi takes place on Thursday, October 28 from 6.30pm onwards. Packages start from AED 650 per person including food and beverages, and table reservations are highly recommended.
NEW NAMES ADDED TO COYA’S ICONIC LINE-UP OF INCREDIBLE DJS
COYA Abu Dhabi’s resident DJs have all been carefully selected from across the world for their natural talents and skills behind the decks. Now, with the cooler weather setting in and live DJ sets officially back across the UAE capital, COYA’s Musical Producer, Stephane Petit, is introducing several new names to further strengthen COYA’s unique DNA and keep the party vibes going every night of the week.
Guests can now look forward to swaying to sets from Greek music producer Nikos Sirmos, aka NSI, in the colourful and vibrant Pisco Bar. Influenced by the party scenes of London and Mykonos, he’s a multi-talented artist who can turn his hand from deep house to afro house and melodic house, all in the blink of an eye. Named as Time Out Dubai’s DJ of the Year in 2020, he will now be entertaining the capital’s most stylish crowds with his distinct and unique mixes on a regular basis.
Meanwhile, DJ Eva Voytko will continue to amaze with her musical expertise, with sets inspired by the cities she’s visited during her illustrious eight-year career.
Finally, Eva and NSI will also be joined by much-loved regular COYA Music DJs, Rogerio, Victhor and Alex Twin. Setting the mood for some Peruvian style dining and unwinding, this astounding, reimagined line-up is further proof that COYA’s one-of-a-kind music offering, which also includes tracks and podcasts from COYA Music, the brand’s own label, is only going from strength to strength.
