The Venue
Situated in the Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche with stunning views of the Corniche and the Arabian Gulf Parmigiana offers an unmatched ambiance with food that will leave your taste buds tingling.
The elegant interiors with tables suitably spaced featuring pictures of iconic Italian actors offers a unique ambiance to dine and enjoy the views at the same time.
The mood is upbeat with soft music, friendly staff and seating options ranging from bar seating to private dining Parmigiana offers something for all tastes.
The Food
We were over for a weekday lunch and Chef Gari outdid himself with a selection of his top favorites that left us completely in awe.
Chef Gari came up to the table as we were seated and offered some bread and dips to nibble on while he explained his plans for our lunch selection.
We started out with a fresh Burrata salad that was light and delectable on a bed of tomatoes and a balsamic glaze, it was gone in no time.
Next up was a delectable Octopus salad with root veggies, the Octopus was perfectly done tasted divine, the best Octopus in Abu Dhabi.
This was followed by a classic Fattoush Salad with a kiss of olive oil, the balance of flavors with the tartness of the lime was excellent.
The Chef served us his classic Chicken Parmigiana, a perfectly cooked chicken breast topped with melted Parmesan cheese, moist and tender was absolutely stunning and the side of pasta with the delectable marinara sauce made it extra special.
Along with this we were served an superb fillet of salmon pan seared to perfection, the dish looked so stunning we were reluctant to break the symphony and take a bite.
The desserts were decadent and the presentations exceptional we were in heaven with the chocolate cake and the selection of ice cream.
The Verdict
The food is amazing to say it simply, the ambiance warming, the views excellent and all of it comes together to give an experience unlike any other.
Hats off to Chef Gari and his creativity, we hope to be back soon to try more of his excellent food.
A great location with ample parking, exceptional food and superb service and the pricing will leave you happy as well, a truly five star experience.
