Modon’s popular Beyond the Sunset series is back for its third edition on Hudayriyat Island, Abu Dhabi, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Following the success of previous years, including 2024 which saw 1,751 participants from 75 nationalities, this year’s event promises exciting outdoor sporting action during the off-season.
Join us across two weekends – May 17-18 and May 31-June 1 – for four distinct events set against the stunning sunset views of Hudayriyat Island:
RUN Beyond the Sunset
Location: Marsana, Hudayriyat Island
Date: Saturday, May 17th
Timings: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Age Limit: All ages welcome
Races: 5 km (7 age categories), 3 km (7 age categories)
Prizes: AED 100-500 (Top 3 in each age group, Male & Female, 5 km only)
Entry Fee: AED 55-80

SWIM Beyond the Sunset
Location: Marsana, Hudayriyat Island
Date: Sunday, May 18th
Timings: 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Age Limit: All ages welcome
Races: 1600 m (3 age categories), 800 m (5 age categories), 400 m (3 age categories), 200 m (2 age categories), 100 m Splash & Dash (kids’ fun swim)
Prizes: AED 100-500 (Top 3 in each age group, Male & Female, 1600 m & 800 m only)

RIDE Beyond the Sunset
Location: Cycling Track, Hudayriyat Island

Timings: 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Age Limit: All ages welcome
Races: Men 40.5 km (6 age categories), Women 27 km (5 age categories), Juniors 20 km (2 age categories), Juniors 10 km (2 age categories)
Prizes: AED 200-500 (Top 3 in each age group, Men’s 40.5 km & Women’s 27 km only)
