The highest restaurant in the UAE opens in October at the Jais Adventure Park in Ras Al Khaimah.
There is no shortage of unusual restaurants in the UAE but 1848 by Puro, opening on 1st Oct, at a height of 1,484 meters, right at the top of Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah takes the record for the UAE’s highest dining venue.
1484 by Puro
1484 By Puro is situated at the Jebel Jais Welcome Center. The restaurant features a sleek, modern interior and an outdoor terrace overlooking the Hajar mountains. Maximum capacity of the restaurant is 76 seats.
Positioned on the mountain-facing façade of the Jais Adventure Peak, an entire side of the venue consists of ceiling-to-floor windows that open up to uninterrupted views of the landscape.

The Food
The restaurant will feature a fresh and healthy menu incorporating locally sourced ingredients and will be open from breakfast.
Customers can enjoy the likes of eggs benedict, shakshuka, calamari fritti, wasabi shrimp, duck confit, braised beef ribs, and Korean fried chicken.
With its elevation meaning the temperature is around 10 degree lower than sea level, 1484 by Puro could become a retreat for those looking to escape from the UAE’s hot summers.
It’s the latest venture from Puro, an independent dining concept with two existing restaurants at Al Marjan Island and the Jais Viewing Deck Park.
