Toyota launches new Camry for Middle East

The old favorite is back with a refreshed look.

The Toyota Camry is the workhorse car for the middle east region. You will see it everywhere, from taxis to families using it. If you pay attention in a week, you may spot a couple of generations of cars roaming around the streets.

I have personally seen Camrys with 400,000+ km on the odo and working in perfect condition. This is a huge compliment to Toyota for making such reliable, cost-effective usable cars, and they should be proud of it.

Build on the TNGA, Toyotas’ modular platform supporting multiple cars; this is the 2021 facelift for the Camry. The Camry now comes with a completely redesigned sportier-looking body kit with chrome and black trim, making it look athletic. 18-inch machined alloy wheels further enhance this look.

In true Camry style, the interior is spacious and comfortable, offering good visibility for all five passengers. It also offers a range of features such as a panoramic moonroof, a floating 7-inch or 9-inch multimedia touch screen that comes integrated with Apple CarPlay® and Android AutoTM, a wireless charging system for smartphones, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, a six-speaker sound system, multi-adjustable power front seats, and 60/40 split and reclining rear seats.

Powering the Camry are three powertrains a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder producing 204 HP, 3.5 litre V6 making 298 HP and, a hybrid model which combines a petrol engine with two electric motors producing 215 HP.

The Camry has a ton of advanced safety features. Customers can choose from eleven exterior colours and multiple trim options depending on the trim level they choose.
