Seamlessly fusing the world’s most exclusive varieties of traditional Japanese rice wine with a curated selection of exotic, Pacific Rim-inspired specialties, ‘The Sensational Sake Soirée’ is perfect for adventurous luminaries who love discovering new flavours. Treating guests to a four-course tasting menu of delectable Buddha-Bar Beach signatures, served with four carefully paired types of premium quality sake, it promises to be an evening filled with unique beverages, sophisticated tastes and memorable moments.
Guiding guests on a journey through the explosive flavours and traditional brewing techniques of authentic Japanese sake, each beverage is introduced by expert sommelier Giovanni Depergola, Founder of the Alembic Liquid Education Experience. Adding an extra element of prestige to the gathering, Giovanni will skilfully lead diners through every sumptuous course, all the while sharing fascinating insights about the history, ingredients and culture behind authentic Japanese sake.
Set within the beautiful ambiance of the vibrant restaurant, and to a soundtrack of uplifting tribal beats, the evening begins with a glass of clean, fruity and refreshing Dassai 45 Sparkling, and a serving of crispy deep-fried lobster dumplings.
Guests are then treated to the versatile flavors of the Dassai 45 sake with a fresh sashimi trio, followed by a tempting main course of Gochujang toothfish pot, paired with delicate and smooth Gekkeikan Horin sake. Finally, the fourth course featuring the coconut and passion pavlova, paired with sweet and mellow Gekkeikan Nigori sake, completes the sophisticated journey perfectly. An enlightening and enriching tribute to the world’s most amazing varieties of sake, it is sure to be an evening that every guest will remember forever.
