Mother’s Day in the UAE is celebrated every year on 21 March – a day when we pause and give thought to our own mothers, the maternal bonds we enjoy and the positive impact moms have always had on our society. This special promotion covers a wide variety of delicious afternoon classics, including traditional English Breakfast tea, pink scones with strawberry jam, orange marmalade and clotted cream. Sandwiches include Mediterranean Chicken, Roasted Beef with mustard and horseradish, Cured Salmon with Lemon Cream Cheese, Cottage Cheese with Tomato, and Crab and Mango Brioche. Of course, no Afternoon Tea would be complete without a selection of seriously indulgent desserts and ours include Rose Pistachio Battenberg, Passion Fruit Bombe, Red Velvet Muffin, Raspberry and White Chocolate macarons, Lemon Meringue, Fresh Fruit tart and Red Opera.
As if that weren’t enough, Afternoon Tea at Majlis Lobby Lounge also has eastern palates covered with Levantine, Arabic and Asian options, as well as a scrumptious array of vegan and vegetarian delights, all beautifully presented with utmost attention to detail.
Available daily between 3 PM and 6 PM and priced at just AED 210, it’s a truly wonderful way to while away an afternoon, perhaps as a pre- or post-shopping treat. Also, on Mother’s Day at Majlis Lobby Lounge, you can enjoy a special 2-for1 Pink Themed Cheesecake offer, available for AED 47 between 7 AM and midnight.
