The Venue
Nando’s at The Mall at WTC was their first location in Abu Dhabi, we were there on the day they opened in 2016 and have been enjoying the chicken ever since.
Rustic wood paneling, a smattering of art on the walls, wisecracks in the bathrooms and tables well spaced apart is what makes the venue so fun.
The Order
Its got to be the Espetadas and the Peri Peri Chicken, lets just leave the rest for others.
The Espetada Rustica stuffed with sun dried tomatoes dripping juice is a sight to behold, grab a fork, slide off a piece, bite in and let the flavors delight your palate.
Mixed with a side of Spicy Rice and fresh Coleslaw each bite is a slice of chicken heaven.
Take a moment and grab a juicy leg of chicken done in Lemon n Herb Sauce and sink your teeth into the delicate meat, this is the real Peri Peri.
The Peri Peri Wedges and the Sweet Potato Fries make an excellent combination and don’t forget to drizzle the extra hot sauce just for fun.
The bottomless drinks and the excellent service will make the visit memorable.
The Verdict
There is no chicken like the Nando’s Peri Peri and we are glad to see them adapt and thrive in this Pandemic serving the same excellent food.
The service is excellent, do ask for Mary Joy Alard who will look after you like family and make sure you will want for nothing.
The chicken is exceptional, the ambiance is great and the portions are huge so go with a rumbling stomach with time to eat and enjoy the company of loved ones.
