As we are coming to the close of summer its time to start thinking about adding new stuff to your gardens. Be it a villa or an apartment a touch of green adds that breath of freshness we all love.
Summer is a particularly harsh time for gardens and most tend to need replacing once the weather starts improving. This is the time to plan additions and replacements, prepare your plant beds and look out of new stuff.
The Plant Souq at Al Mina Port is a haven of shops selling all you will need for your garden, from carpet grass to Bougainvilleas to fruit and veg plants they have it all.
There is a collection of over 40 individual shops selling indoor and outdoor plants along with pots, seed, manure and gardening tools as well.
There is no other place in Abu Dhabi that has such a huge variety of plants available in one place. The variety is astonishing.
Last time The Experience Team was there we managed to get some great deals on a range of indoor plants, these are usually in the back in air conditioned rooms, do check them out.
Apart from the plants there are sections selling bamboo screens and BBQ stuff along with firewood and coal so next time you have a desert BBQ coming up here is where to get your firewood.
Some shops even accept card payments but do remember to haggle as the prices are quiet flexible.
