‘Uncorked’ will take place on Tuesday, June 21st, and it promises to be a tantalizing evening full of incredible tastes, aromas and special memories.
A night to truly remember forever, guests are invited to relax within the sophisticated bar and savour a delectable five-course menu curated by iconic French chef Pierre Gagnaire. These decadent palette pleasers are then perfectly paired and enhanced with ten smooth, rich and fruity wines from France and Chile’s most famous and well-respected wineries.
Hosted by Alexis Deberry from Cheers, the evening is given an extra fun twist with the addition of an immersive ‘France vs Chile’ blind tasting competition. Each sumptuous course, starring exceptional French specialities made with incredible skill and the highest quality ingredients, will be paired with half a glass of French wine and half a glass of Chilean. It is then up to each diner to put their wine knowledge to the test, and try to guess which indulgent variety is which correctly.
An unmissable experience for anyone with a passion for fine wines or authentic French-brasserie style cuisine, this is a unique and enriching opportunity for guests to fully immerse themselves in the full wonderful spectrum of flavours and notes that are featured in French and Chilean wine making.
The evening of fine flavours is complimented with a 5-course tasting menu of various delicious flavours some of which are, White Asparagus Bavarois, pan-seared Foie Gras accompanied by Fig and Apple compote. In addition, succulent seared halibut fillet, lobster bouillabaisse and wilted watercress. Ending the night on the sweet notes of Vanilla parfait, poached pear and cumin caramel. Guests will enjoy perfectly paired authentic wines, enhancing their unique experience.
Uncorked will take place on Tuesday, June 21st, from 7.30pm to 10.30pm, priced AED 390 for five courses and 10 half glasses of wine (two served with each course).
