Marking the event’s return, two skilled skydiving instructors from Abu Dhabi Sports Aviation Club made a hair-raising leap over the Liwa Dunes
LIWA Village celebrated its return to the heart of the Al Dhafra desert by delivering a jaw-dropping spectacle on December 12th. Against the stunning backdrop of the Liwa dunes, all eyes were glued to the sky as two daring professionals skydived from a plane while holding a banner to announce that Liwa Village is officially back.
The aircraft took off from its base at Abu Dhabi Sports Aviation Club and made the short journey to LIWA Festival. Once it climbed to an altitude of 13,000 ft, the skydivers leapt from the plane, launching into an adrenaline-pumping freefall through the clear blue skies.
As the large banner unfurled in the wind, the daring display captivated onlookers below as they watched the words ‘LIWA VILLAGE IS BACK’ soar across the horizon, setting the tone for another unforgettable event of adventure, entertainment and culture, taking place until 4 January.
