Yas Island’s Stylish Italian Restaurant, Filini Garden Unveils Refreshed Look & New Menu Offerings
The best sunset spot in Abu Dhabi just got better as Yas Island’s stylish and sophisticated Italian restaurant and bar, Filini Garden unveiled its fresh new look and menu offerings. Located at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Abu Dhabi Yas Island, Filini Garden has always invoked a sense of lushness with its living green walls and luxurious foliage, but it is now upping the ante in providing an authentic Italian culinary experience with its new coffee bar and wine table.
Filini Garden’s new coffee bar will offer a true Italian coffee experience. Meanwhile, Filini Garden’s wine table provides a delicious variety of red, white, rose and sparkling wines, and even champagne, to sip with a lovely meal. Guests can enjoy coffee, wine, and creative cocktails at Filini Garden’s open-air pergola, open throughout the winter season, and enjoy stunning, uninterrupted views over the golfing greens and out to the picturesque creek beyond.
They can also take a selfie in front of the restaurant’s cool new mural. Instantly Instagrammable! This addition to Filini Garden fits right into the lively and sophisticated vibe of the restaurant. The mural is part of a series of sketches done by local fashion designer, Ushi Sato for the Filini Garden beverage menu. A nod to the restaurant’s artistic and fashionable vibe, Filini Garden’s signature “haute couture cocktails” were inspired by the most celebrated fashion houses of all time. With these clever shout-outs to the icons of the fashion world like the Medusa’s Gaze celebrating Gianni Versace, it’s no surprise that Filini Garden remains a favourite for the stylish set of Abu Dhabi.

Have a cocktail, a coffee or wine with a plate of handmade pasta while enjoying the breath-taking view at our new pergola. Filini Garden’s menu of authentic and high-quality Italian bites remains a transportive experience. Inspired by the flavours of Pescara in the Adriatic, Head Chef Marco Gattone introduces guests to his hometown through delectable new starters like Pallotte Cacio e Ove, fried crunchy cheese balls in a tomato coulis, along with Insalata di Polpo e Patate, an octopus salad with potatoes, cherry tomatoes, black olives and zesty lemon dressing, and home-style Bruschetta as starters.
The pasta section will likewise house some new favorites – guests can savor the flavors of the sea in the Chicche di Ricotta Allo Scoglio, a special ricotta gnocchi in a rich seafood sauce, along with a variety of fresh, homemade pastas prepared in Filini Garden’s kitchen such as tagliatelle and ravioli. While the new mains – a Sea Bream cooked in foil with sustainably-sourced season vegetables and Angus beef in a savoury three peppercorn sauce – continues this culinary journey along the coast of Italy.
“We put a lot of thought into planning the new look and menu of Filini Garden. The dishes are delicious and authentic, and the cocktails all have a very clear creative and fashion inspiration.
