This August, The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal curates a season of exceptional culinary moments.From the elegance of The Forge, where prime cuts are the evening’s centrepiece, to the vibrant, modern Asian flavours of Li Jiang and the authentic Arabian warmth of Mijana, every restaurant tells its own story. Alba offers refined afternoon teas beneath sparkling chandeliers, while Dolce serves wholesome fare in a relaxed café setting. Giornotte enchants with Italian charm and live stations, and at Sorso, handcrafted cocktails meet a sultry, sophisticated ambience for evenings to remember.
Lillet Sundown Bar by Al Fresco
Bright and breezy, Lillet bar and restaurant offers a relaxed poolside escape. Set within lush gardens next to the infinity pool, it welcomes guests to unwind over signature cocktails, perfectly chilled sundowners, and light bites, including vibrant salads, gourmet sandwiches, and fresh pizzas and pastas. A daily happy hour adds to the charm.
Happy Hour: Discounted prices on select beverages, including speciality cocktails for AED 40. Available daily from 3pm – 5pm.
Alba Lobby Lounge
Set beneath vaulted ceilings and sparkling chandeliers, Alba Lobby Lounge offers a refined yet relaxed afternoon tea experience, starting at AED 180. Guests can indulge in a curated selection of premium tea blends, elegantly paired with freshly baked scones, delicate finger sandwiches, and artfully crafted desserts. For an added touch of indulgence, Italian bubbles may be included at an additional charge.

Dolce
Vibrant and inviting, Dolce is a casual café set beside the padel courts, offering a thoughtfully curated menu of wellness-focused fare. Guests can enjoy fresh poke bowls, wholesome bites, protein shakes, and keto or vegan-friendly options, all crafted with care. Major sporting events are screened throughout the day, while the daily happy hour offers a relaxed and social way to unwind after a game.

Giornotte
Giornotte brings the spirit of a traditional Italian villa to life, offering a welcoming blend of indoor elegance and lush garden-patio dining. Mediterranean-inspired dishes are served à la carte and through interactive stations, creating a dynamic setting from breakfast through to dinner. On Thursdays, guests can delight in Pizza & Pasta Night, a three-hour experience featuring antipasti, unlimited selections of handcrafted pizza and pasta, and house wine and beer. Saturdays are reserved for the restaurant’s signature brunch, a vibrant afternoon of flavour and relaxed charm.

The Forge is a contemporary steakhouse that celebrates precision, flavour, and global culinary excellence. This upscale dining destination presents the world’s finest cuts, expertly prepared and paired with an exceptional selection of wines. Intimate yet modern, the setting is ideal for refined evenings, with private dining options available for special occasions.
On Wednesdays, the Tomahawk Experience invites couples to share a 1.2kg premium cut, served with signature sides, for AED 508, a bold midweek indulgence to savour together.

Mijana
Blending the rich flavours of the Middle East with elegant, contemporary design, Mijana offers an immersive dining experience steeped in Arabian hospitality. A MICHELIN Guide-selected venue, it welcomes guests to dine indoors, on the terrace, or in the privacy of an exclusive setting, where golden-hued décor, graceful service, and award-winning cuisine create a setting of rare distinction.
Alongside its à la carte lunch and dinner menus, August brings a four-course business lunch served Monday to Saturday, beginning with a medley of starters, the Chef’s soup of the day, and a choice of mains such as fragrant shish tawook or succulent Mijana lahem meshwi, before a delicate dessert finale.
On Sundays, Seafood Night presents a curated four-course menu paired with soft drinks, tea, and coffee, a celebration of coastal flavour in a setting alive with cultural charm. Shisha, served upon request, completes the experience.
