Starting with a luxurious spa treatment at Iridium Spa, guests are lulled into a state of pure relaxation before enjoying an elegant Afternoon Tea in The Drawing Room, the beautiful lobby lounge overlooking views of the azure Arabian Gulf.
Whisking guests away on a voyage through tranquility, the revitalising ‘Hydration Rose Body Wrap’ at Iridium Spa is a ritual to remember forever. By harnessing the powers of real fresh roses, the restorative ritual is guaranteed to leave every guest glowing and confident. The expert therapists use a detoxifying balm to exfoliate and smooth the skin, before applying a layer of nourishing Roses de Sucre cream. This ensures that every part of the body is hydrated and moisturised, and that every guest departs feeling refreshed and energised.
Once the serene and peaceful treatment has concluded, the Emirati Women’s Day celebration continues with a traditional Afternoon Tea in The Drawing Room. A signature ritual of The St. Regis brand, each lavish spread is inspired by the original afternoon teas that were hosted by Lady Caroline Astor, the founder of the first St. Regis hotel in New York. Mrs. Astor started hosting afternoon teas in 1904 as a way of introducing herself to New York society and gathering with her closest friends, and since then it has become a defining part of The St. Regis experience.
Guests are free to unwind, converse with loved ones and celebrate the brilliant women of the UAE whilst savouring a curated array of delicate traditional sandwiches, delicious cakes, golden pastries and freshly baked scones, all served with fresh loose-leaf teas and barista coffees.
The ‘Ultimate Indulgence’ Emirati Women’s Day experience is available to enjoy daily from August 25 to August 31. The experience is priced AED 699 per person, including a ‘Hydration Rose Body Wrap’ treatment at Iridium Spa and an afternoon tea at The Drawing Room.
A prior reservation is required. Iridium Spa is open daily from 11 AM to 11 PM. The Afternoon Tea is available at The Drawing Room from 2 PM to 6 PM.
