Following overwhelming demand, the venue’s high-energy Rio Carnival Brunch has now been extended into June, bringing vibrant Brazilian flavours, dazzling samba dancers, electrifying Latin beats, and full-throttle carnival energy to the waterfront every Saturday.
Newly opened hidden tequila room La Catrina also steps into the spotlight this month, inviting guests to discover a more immersive side of Barbossa through curated agave tastings, custom cocktails, and one of the UAE’s largest selections of tequila and mezcal.

After proving hugely popular with Yas Bay crowds, Barbossa’s high-energy Rio Carnival Brunch has now been extended into June, bringing even more Saturdays filled with mouthwatering flavours, dazzling performances, and nonstop Latin spirit.
Inspired by the colour, rhythm, and electric atmosphere of Rio’s iconic Carnival celebrations, the brunch transforms Barbossa into a full-throttle party every Saturday. Guests step into a lively world of Rio-inspired décor, playful photo moments, dazzling samba dancers, and electrifying Latin beats from DJ Juan.
The specially curated menu blends Barbossa favourites with authentic Brazilian flavours, from fresh guacamole and pão de queijo cheese bread to Brazilian classics including feijoada, flame-grilled picanha with chimichurri, and fragrant coconut fish bake. Rio-inspired cocktails such as classic Caipirinhas, refreshing Caipiroskas, and signature serves including the Regal Amburana and Bachiller keep the carnival spirit flowing all afternoon long.

Step beyond the bar and into a whole new side of Barbossa at La Catrina, the venue’s newly opened hidden tequila room designed for immersive nights centred around agave, storytelling, and discovery.
Open from Thursday to Saturday, the exclusive-use space invites guests on a curated Agave Journey through Mexico with tapas, tailored cocktails, and guided tastings. Designed for small groups, the 90-minute experience explores the bold flavours of Jalisco, the smoky complexity of Oaxaca, and premium agave profiles from across Mexico’s most celebrated regions.
Guests can also explore one of the UAE’s largest selections of tequila and mezcal alongside signature serves such as the Vida Margarita, Mezcal Paloma, and Oaxacan Mule, while a rotating infusion menu and interactive agave salt library add an unexpected twist to every pour.

Designed for easy afternoons at Yas Bay, Barbossa’s Business Lunch brings together vibrant Mexican favourites, relaxed waterfront energy, and just the right balance of business and pleasure.
Start fresh with signature dishes like Barbossa Ceviche before diving into two tacos of your choice. For mains, crowd favourites take centre stage, including juicy Carne Asada or a smoky Mexican Chorizo Quesadilla, before wrapping things up with warm, golden churros.
