The city’s leading dining hub to host two Collaboration Dinners featuring 50 Best Chefs

Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi’s premier lifestyle and dining destination, is set to feature in the inaugural edition of the Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022 event programme in partnership with the Department of Culture & Tourism – Abu Dhabi.

From 4 – 8 February, some of the world’s best chefs will be in town to host a series of spectacular culinary experiences, including 50 Best Collaboration Dinners of which two are to take place at Al Maryah Island’s award-winning restaurants, Dai Pai Dong and LPM Restaurant & Bar.

These ticketed dinners will feature the uniting of chefs from The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list with local talent to create a truly exceptional and one-of-a-kind dining experience, reinforcing Al Maryah Island as Abu Dhabi’s coveted dining hotspot.

Dai Pai Dong x Chef Tim Raue

Berlin based Tim Raue, a two Michelin star chef and star of Netflix’s ‘Chef’s Table’, whose flagship restaurant ranks No.31 in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2021 – will be teaming up with Chef Dong from Dai Pai Dong to create a collaborative dining experience that promises to be one of the hottest tickets of the MENA 50 Best event week. Featuring an 8-course menu, Chef Tim Raue will be adding his signature langoustine, pike perch and famous duck soup dishes with Dai Pai Dong’s innovative Cantonese cuisine, including delicious, barbecued meat, roast duck puffs & lobster dumplings and honey braised beef short ribs.

LPM Restaurant & Bar x Chef Julien Royer

The mastermind behind Odette – the Singapore restaurant which has twice been given first place in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, French Chef Julien Royer will be joining forces with the talent behind LPM Restaurant & Bar. Adding his understanding of Asian ingredients with a French twist, Chef Julien Royer

will be fusing the best of both restaurants together to create a unique collaborative menu that blends Odette classics and Claudine, his latest concept featuring signature sharing dishes. Guests can look forward to gastronomic delights such as Normandy baron crab, black truffle tart and kampot pepper crusted pigeon.
