Two Chefs, four hands one incredible menu.

Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers hosts special Latin American dining event at VaKaVa.

Two of the UAE’s best Latin American chefs will step into the kitchen together for an extra special culinary collaboration. The Cuatro Manos (Four Hands) dinner will feature incredible dishes expertly prepared by chefs Richard Sandoval and Eber Villalobos with an evening of amazing food, superb flavours and unforgettable memories guaranteed.

A must-try for foodies and fans of authentic Latin American food, Chef Richard and Chef Eber will showcase dishes from their native Mexico and Peru as well as classic plates over two nights on 28 & 29 September from 7pm to 11pm. A special four-course menu including cold and hot starters, mains for sharing plus dessert and a drink will be available for AED350.

For the Cuatro Manos dinner, each chef will cook using only the highest quality ingredients painstakingly sourced and imported all the way from Latin America to Abu Dhabi. Signature dishes include traditional smoked guacamole, made using only Mexican mashed avocado and served with tortilla chips. A classic Peruvian ceviche of sea bass, leche de tigre, cancha and sweet potato will also be available along with a pulled lamb shank served with adobo sauce, mint, aji amarillo and creamed potato.

For desserts, diners can choose between coffee tres leches with coconut ice cream and strawberries, or crispy churros with manchego ice cream and abuelita sauce.

Chef Eber’s cooking techniques are inspired by his mother and grandmother and his skills in the kitchen have gained him huge respect and admiration around the globe. Chef Richard is a mainstay of the UAE’s culinary scene and is credited with transforming people’s perception of Mexican food and elevating it to the standard of fine dining.

An experience not to be missed, the Cuatro Manos dinner will offer guests the chance to taste the rich flavours and eclectic textures of some of Latin America’s best-loved dishes expertly cooked by Chef Eber and Chef Richard.

On 30 September, the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers will launch a new a la carte menu at VaKaVa restaurant featuring a stunning selection of mouth-watering dishes inspired by Chef Eber and Chef Richard’s favourite cooking styles and plates from across Latin America.

From 1 October, diners can embark on a fun-filled journey through Latin American food at VaKaVa’s Friday Brunch. Held from 2pm to 5pm, the restaurant will serve a unique menu of sharing-style dishes and great drinks as part of a vibrant adults-only Friday afternoon.

Plates brought to the table will include traditional lamb and beef perfectly cooked using authentic Latin American techniques as well as a choice of seafood including crispy prawns, seabass and more. Vegetarians can enjoy a tasty selection of fresh vegetables, salads plus a range of mains.

After feasting for three hours, guests can unwind with sunset drinks on the venue’s terrace to soak up the stunning views of Abu Dhabi’s corniche and beyond from 5pm to 7pm. VaKaVa’s Friday brunch is priced AED 295 for soft beverages and AED 495 for house beverages.
