To mark the beginning of summer, all in-house guests can enjoy non-stop activities and entertainment with an exclusive Mayfest lineup that captures the sun-kissed spirit of the season. Featuring fun-filled games at Rixy Kids Club, hands-on workshops, sunset DJ sets, lively karaoke nights, and everything in between, there is truly something to delight every guest this May at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi.

Ideally positioned between the glistening Arabian Gulf and the UAE’s vibrant capital, Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi is the perfect backdrop to start your summer on an energised note. Every day from May 1^st to 9^th, guests will have ample opportunities to get active with a picturesque beach workout or a guided group cycle at the garden stage, as well as fitness sessions for the whole family, including Aqua Boxing or Aqua Jumping led by Sandra Perlini, a respected presenter and master trainer for Euroeducation Aqua Italy. With a deep passion for aquatic fitness, she specializes in designing and leading innovative water-based choreographies, bringing energy, inspiration, and creativity to every movement in the pool. To cool down after an action-packed day, guests can also take advantage of a revitalising ice bath treatment at the sports area or a grounding sound healing session at the stunning Isla Beach Bar Terrace.

The Mayfest programme will also have plenty of exciting activities to keep little ones thoroughly entertained throughout their summer stay. At Rixy Kids Club, children can dive into hands-on fun, such as crafting vibrant creations in a rug tufting workshop or mixing up sweet treats in a lively waffle-making class. For those with energy to burn, trampolining sessions at the sports area and splash-filled aqua Zumba at the kids’ pool offer the perfect way to let loose. Additionally, the colourful Rixy Kids Fest at Rixy Garden and the Rixy Kites Fest at the beach give kids plenty of opportunities to get out and soak up the sunshine.

Adding to the vibrant Mayfest celebrations, Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi will come alive with entertainment and live performances at every turn. Each evening kicks off with a high-energy sunset party on the beach, where guests can sway to tropical beats from top DJs and sip on eclectic cocktails. As night falls, the atmosphere heats up with dynamic live music from acts like Funky Soul, Groove Addiction, Willy William, and more. Later, Anti-Dote Bar transforms into a lively late-night hub, hosting vibrant after-parties and karaoke nights.

In the spirit of new beginnings, the Mayfest programme also invites guests to master new skills, including finding your rhythm at the Garden Stage with energising Salsa and Samba dance workshops. Over at People’s Restaurant, guests can dive into a series of interactive live kitchen sessions, where the hotel’s Executive Chef, Chef Enes will guide you through preparing favourites like simit, sushi, and creamy tiramisu. What’s more, mixology workshops at the breathtaking People’s Terrace offer the chance to shake, stir, and sip your way through the art of cocktail making.
