Paradiso Abu Dhabi unveils redesign plans as it celebrates one successful year in operation

Paradiso plans to revamp its layout to create an open plan, fully immersive destination

Paradiso Abu Dhabi, the picturesque Mediterranean restaurant by Yas Bay, is thrilled to look back on its accomplishments and unveil its exciting plans for the future as it celebrates its one-year anniversary.

A collaborative project between Nicole Rubi, founder of LPM Restaurant and Bar, and Pierre Gagnaire, the iconic Michelin-star chef behind Fouquet’s Paris and Abu Dhabi, Paradiso Abu Dhabi has achieved great success since it opened in January 2022.

Providing a unique fusion of expertly made Mediterranean dishes, intricate cocktails and live music, complemented by views over the Arabian Gulf, Paradiso was the proud winner of the Best European Restaurant award at the FACT Dining Awards Abu Dhabi 2022. Adding further prestige, it was then selected for the highly-regarded debut edition of the MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi.

Now, as the brand turns a corner into its second year in operation, Paradiso is thrilled to announce that it will be marking its new chapter with a full redesign.

Designed to reflect the restaurant’s status as one of the most popular night spots in the UAE, Paradiso plans to revamp its layout to create an open plan, fully immersive destination that seamlessly connects the outdoor and indoor areas. The wide floor-to-ceiling windows will be completely opened out, enabling guests to move easily from the idyllic waterfront terrace, to the sophisticated ambiance of the bar and restaurant area.

The new design is intended to attract more late-night guests to Paradiso Abu Dhabi, and provide an elegant venue where friends, colleagues and socialites are welcome to dance, socialise and enjoy refreshing cocktails and delicate Mediterranean bites.

The renovation is scheduled to take place during the quiet summer months, with the reopening of the new-look Paradiso Abu Dhabi planned for September 2023.

Pascal Pinazo, Chief Operating Officer of Paradiso Abu Dhabi, Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi, Éclair de Génie, Art Lounge and Louvre Abu Dhabi Muséum Café chez Barrière, said: “It has been a hugely successful first year for Paradiso Abu Dhabi. We have won several awards, gathered a loyal customer base, and firmly established ourselves as one of the leading brands at Yas Bay, Abu Dhabi’s most thriving dining and lifestyle destination.

As with all new venues, the first year came with many learning curves and we have been continuously quick to adapt and evolve our offerings to suit the local audience. For instance, while our Business Lunch, Weekend Brunch and Aperitivo packages have helped us attract increasing numbers of daytime guests, we have continuously noticed that most of our venue is generated after 7pm, and we are particularly busy on weekend evenings.

Therefore, we are excited to announce that we will be undergoing a thorough redesign this summer, and revamping our space to reflect its status as a day-to-night destination, and offer a more memorable experience for those who are looking for a late-night venue. We plan to reopen in September 2023, and present an elevated Paradiso experience for the busy cooler months of Q4 2023.”

Paradiso is located at Pier 71, Yas Bay, Abu Dhabi.
