This June, the Philippines takes centre stage at Louvre Abu Dhabi both in the gallery and on the plate. For two unforgettable weekends, the Museum Café will be transformed into a vibrant showcase of Filipino flavours in the evening, as celebrated chef JP Anglo returns to the capital with his acclaimed dining concept, Kooya.
Kooya brings a menu that celebrates heritage while pushing flavour boundaries. Known for his fearless take on heritage dishes, Chef JP Anglo has become a champion of contemporary Filipino cuisine, turning humble favourites into unforgettable dining experiences.

Guests can expect fan-favourites and surprise twists all crafted with heart, heat, and heritage, savouring the soul of the islands with standout dishes like:
- Kare Kare – a rich oxtail stew with Kooya’s signature peanut-umami punch
- Kaldereta – slow-braised beef stew reimagined with deep, layered flavours
Set against the museum’s iconic dome and waterfront views, guests are invited to enjoy a bold, modern take on Filipino flavours, presented à la carte and paired with mixed drinks.
