Fans of modern K-pop got a real treat last weekend as the incredible girl ground,, set the Etihad Park in Abu Dhabi alight during a thrilling concert on Saturday, January 28th. Having already performed in Riyadh last week, Abu Dhabi was the next stop on the BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK], which will feature further stops in Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Jakarta, Kaohsiung, Singapore and Macau among other major cities. The brilliant 4-piece brought their impeccable vocal range to the UAE capital for the very first time and fully filled the fans as they descended in their droves on the fantastic venue.
The first music group and Korean female act to have five music videos accumulate one billion views each on YouTube and the most-subscribed music act on the platform with over 80 million subscribers, BLACKPINK is a global K-pop phenomenon helping spread K-pop content worldwide. Playing pop, hip-hop, and trap, this was just another step along their way to global domination.
