Abu Dhabi’s Al Hudaryat Island will receive some welcome new additions in the coming weeks as an impressive recreational project opens offering a host of new activities like glamping, beach cinemas, watersport and more.
The opening of the new waterfront destination is set to transform Hudayriat Island into a must-visit destination for those seeking their thrills al fresco.
Set to open next month, the new waterfront leisure destination will add an impressive array of activities and entertainment options for visitors, including beach camping and glamping, a toes-in-the-sand cinema, splash park, obstacle course and new cycling tracks.
The waterfront destination has been split into several areas, with each providing the backdrop to exciting new experiences.
Bab Al Nojoum
Bab Al Nojoum is where guests can check-in for overnight adventures, with on-site camper vans, a private camping site and glamping tents complete with private pools all available for guests to book for a rustic night of sleeping under the stars by the ocean.
Visitors just heading to Hudayriat Island for the day will find a BMX track, climbing wall and high ropes course at Circuit X, while the nearby OCR park is home to an obstacle course of varying difficulty levels for adults and children.
New cycling tracks and bike parks have been added to the island for avid cyclists, while those that prefer to stick to walking can enjoy landscaped heritage trails and historic archaeological sites.
At Marsana
Guests will be welcomed to a new marina, a range of global restaurants, splash park for the little ones, skate park and beachfront outdoor gym perfect for al fresco workouts with a scenic view.
321 Sports
321 Sports is Hudayriat island’s new leisure facility dedicated to a wealth of sweat-inducing activities complete with a jogging track, indoor and outdoor sports courts, indoor gym and Fifa-approved football pitch.
