Throughout September and October, Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi will offer an exquisite afternoon tea experience in partnership with Ixora, a revolutionary organic luxury beauty brand. Guests will have the opportunity to treat themselves to luxurious and creative sweet and savoury bites and refreshing beverages, complimented by a gift set from Ixora every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Lobby Lounge.
The special edition menu features superfood bites, unique ingredients, and some of the afternoon tea classics with a modern twist, prepared by the hotel’s Executive Chef, Nikolaos Tsimidakis.
Cold options include a Mini Quiche Lorrain, a Focaccia as well as a Black Brioche Bread with Charred Avocado and Cheese while the selection of sweets features an Ixora Macaroon, Homemade Gluten and Sugar-Free Bounty Balls, an Exotic Baba with Fruit Compote and more.
Available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 2 until 6 p.m. Throughout the months of September and October, the Afternoon Tea by Ixora is priced at AED149, including an Ixora gift set and coffee or tea – excellent value for such a lush culinary experience. Guests can also upgrade their weekend experience with a 2-hour unlimited organic bubbly package for just AED80 extra.
