Suitable for all ages, ‘Prison Island – Beat the Bars’ is a breath-taking journey filled with absorbing challenges that require quick thinking, sharp logic and most importantly, total teamwork.
Opening very soon at Abu Dhabi Mall, families, friends, colleagues, classmates and partners are invited to team up and set off on a mission of a lifetime. Featuring 26 unique and imaginative cells, set within an enormous 1,000m2 complex, teammates are required to use all their skills and talents to solve puzzles, collect points and work together as a team to complete this amazing and other-worldly adventure.
Ranked according to difficulty (physique, tactics or technique), every cell is worth a different number of points. Encouraging imagination, creativity and teamwork, each exciting challenge is based around its own distinct theme, with special effects and incredible designs that are set to transport teams into an engaging and unforgettable alternative reality. Providing every kind of quiz and problem-solving challenge imaginable, participants will be utterly enraptured as they immerse themselves in solving cells like The Vault, Tilt, Cliffhanger, Tower, Flash Dance and many more hair-raising and fun activities.
Thought-provoking and exhilarating, the experience is designed to delight and entertain everyone. Ideal for guests aged eight to 88, it’s the perfect activity for team building events, birthday parties or special occasions. Providing ample opportunities for every team member to contribute to the mission and create special memories, it takes between one to three hours to complete.
Inspired by the hit TV shows Fort Boyard and The Crystal Maze, this ingenious family-friendly activity is totally one-of-a-kind. Electrifying and unforgettable, Prison Island presents a riveting journey unlike anything seen before in the UAE capital. With the capacity to host up to 120 players and 22 teams of up to six people at any one time, it is set to become one of the top must-try experiences in the city.

Ahead of the much-anticipated opening, visitors to Abu Dhabi Mall are encouraged to enter a competition to win an exclusive Prison Island experience. To take part, all they need to do is take a mugshot at the Prison Island wall and post it on social media tagging @prisonisland.abudhabi.
Prison Island is due to open very soon at Abu Dhabi Mall, with prices starting from AED 125 for adults and AED 105 for kids per hour. Active wear and sneakers are required to take part, and changing room facilities are available on site.
