MAZI Abu Dhabi, the fine casual Greek restaurant at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort Abu Dhabi, is thrilled to unveil its new menu.
Launched in time for guests to enjoy al fresco-style dining throughout the UAE’s blissful cooler months, the revamped menu stars an enticing choice of colorful Greek specialties, all served with a modern twist.
Released just weeks after MAZI Abu Dhabi was selected for the debut edition of the MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi, the refreshed menu takes diners on an enlightening voyage through the flavours, colours and culture of the Mediterranean.
Served in an authentically Greek, sharing-style format, each delicious dish is delivered to the table as soon as it is ready. Providing a constant stream of sophisticated yet comforting specialties, MAZI Abu Dhabi’s picturesque terrace area is the perfect place to absorb the fresh air and pleasant cooler temperatures of the UAE’s winter season.
The authentic Greek dips, including creamy tirokafteri with spicy roasted red pepper and feta, and smooth melitzanosalata with aubergine, tahini and honey, paired wonderfully with homemade breads and crunchy salads are a must-have.
Spanning enchanting nourishing bowls of dakos with feta cream, olives, capers and tomato, fasolakia with green beans, roasted almonds and charcoal chantilly, and courgette spaghetti with lime and basil yoghurt dressing, health-conscious food connoisseurs will be utterly delighted by the choice of new signatures.
Carpaccio, tartare, and sashimi complete a wholesome range of palette pleasers found within the premium raw seafood range of dishes, while the choice of hot bites have been further enhanced with hearty and satisfying spanakopita (filo pastry stuffed with fresh spinach) and vegan-friendly imam bayildi (aubergine filled with red pepper cream).
Providing the ultimate comfort food, the heartwarming homemade pastas star decadent astakomakaronada, made with whole grilled lobster, and rich and aromatic giouvetsi (braised short rib orzo casserole), baked in the oven for extra flavour.
Meanwhile, the outdoor grill area allows guests to watch the culinary team expertly prepare a vast selection of premium cuts and seafood, including whole Norwegian langoustines with beurre blanc, wild sea bass, chicken thigh souvlaki, beef ribs and more.
MAZI Abu Dhabi is open daily for lunch between 12pm and 3pm, and for dinner from 7pm to 11pm.
