Man’oushi Street has always beckoned us for some reason, perhaps it’s the name or the bright interiors or perhaps the incredible aromas of fresh bread, it always has a welcoming aura around it.
Part of a popular Lebanese fast food chain with three outlets in Abu Dhabi it’s your go to place for classic Lebanese street food and more We stopped over for dinner at the Najda outlet and had a fantastic time.
The Venue
It’s a neat little place, bright and airy with a funky, cheerful vibe, very colorful and curiously decorated with Lebanese artifacts, very interesting setup with ample street parking as well.
The Order
The Appetizer Combo – This came in two parts, first came some cucumber tomato and olives sprinkled with mint followed by fresh bread and a variety of Manakeesh with Hummus and Labneh. So fresh and a perfect start.
Chicken Livers – These were fantastic, perfectly cooked and seasoned but we felt a bit on the sour side due to too much Pomegranate sauce needs addressing.
BBQ Chicken Pizza – This which was stunning, succulent pieces of chicken breast in a tangy BBQ sauce on a thin crust just from the oven and the aroma was heavenly.
Beefyshroom Borek – This was quiet a big portion ideal for sharing, flaky pastry wrapped around tender beef and mushrooms very cool.
Chicken Tikka Wrap – Succulent morsels of chicken slathered with tahini and dusted with spices in a pita bread was just amazing.
Lotus Cheesecake – The meal had to end with this classic, light and full of flavor, a perfect end to a great meal.
The Verdict
Definitely a place to go to again and again and enjoy great food that is fresh and tasty, they are open 6.00 AM to 4 .oo AM and do a mean breakfast as well.
