Inspired by the chic ambiance of the original Fouquet’s restaurant on the Champs-Elysées in the French capital, Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi is a beautiful and intimate setting for a Ramadan gathering with loved ones. Families and friends are invited to catch up and create treasured memories whilst treating their taste buds to an exquisite set menu that fuses the most wonderful aromas and ingredients of French and Emirati cuisine.
Incorporating the tastes and heritage of the local landscape along with the traditions of French cooking, the exclusive iftar menu is served within the luxurious dining room and out on the stunning terrace in the pleasant spring air.
Carefully crafted by Michelin Star Chef Pierre Gagnaire, the three-course experience starts with a serving of delicious local tiger prawn fritters served with Fouquet’s signature condiment, creamy white bean purée and black sesame seeds. Following this is a succulent confit lamb shoulder, cooked à l’orientale style and accompanied with lentils and kale, before the decadent dessert concludes the evening in spectacular style. Honouring the finest fruits, spices and native ingredients of the UAE, guests are invited to walk away with the sweet memories of dried fruits tartelette with saffron spiced syrup, and honey and lime cottage cheese ice cream and date tuile.
The three-course Emirati-French iftar menu at Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi is available to enjoy from sunset to 10pm throughout the month of Ramadan, priced AED 390 per person.

Setting the mood for a calm and peaceful evening under the stars with friends and loved ones, the Art Lounge iftar menu is filled with tasty seasonal bites and Middle Eastern favourite recipes. Specifically designed to share and encourage engaging conversations, the irresistible selection includes starters such as light and delicate vine leaves stuffed with avocado and chickpea cream, plus healthy grilled prawns with beetroot and feta cheese.
Meanwhile, the hearty and flavoursome mains span expertly seasoned lamb koftas, juicy shish taouk with yoghurt sauce and a choice of hot mezze nibbles.
Finally, the elegant and uplifting evening can be drawn to a close with sweet indulgences such as date eclairs and orange blossom and pistachio choux. Prepared using fresh, high-quality and flavour-packed ingredients, each flawless treat is lovingly created by the magical venue’s skilled and talented Executive Pastry Chef, Hugo Sipp.
