The English actor joins line-up of international talent appearing at Abu Dhabi’s ultimate festival of comic book, fantasy and sci-fi-fun from 4 to 6 March
Superstar actor Charlie Cox is the latest celebrity to sign up for Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) 2022, the ultimate pop culture festival taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 4 to 6 March.
Cox is best known for playing the masked superhero Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a role he will reprise in the next instalment of the series. He also appeared in the smash biopic The Theory of Everything and the HBO crime drama Boardwalk Empire. Cox will be making his appearance at MEFCC on 5 March, offering fans a chance to meet and greet with him.
Other stars confirmed to attend include Eternals actor Barry Keoghan; Ming-Na Wen, star of both the animated and live action versions of Mulan; Michael Rooker, who played Yondu Udonta in Guardians of the Galaxy; and Nathalie Emmanuel of Game of Thrones fame.
The organisers of MEFCC have also announced that the convention is offering shuttle buses for Dubai-based visitors, running from Ibn Battuta to ADNEC. Attendees can book their journey by entering their ticket information on the MEFCC website.
Along with a chance to meet and greet celebrities and international artists, MEFCC fans will be treated to the ultimate pop culture experience. Key attractions include cosplay competitions, gaming tournaments, live music and performances, exclusive screenings, limited edition merchandise and more.
