Chin Chin is finally here in downtown Abu Dhabi with its superb Indian style Chinese cuisine.
On our hunt for exciting new places to try in Abu Dhabi a little birdie whispered something about Chin Chin having opened a new location in Abu Dhabi and the hunt was on.
Its a small little place just off the bustling Al Salaam Street offering dine in and takeaway and their full menu.
The Order
We are huge fans of Chin Chin and are regulars at the Central Mall location in Khalifa City and were excited to try this new location.
As usual, in line with the current situation, the decision was to do a takeaway and we were quiet happy.
The classic Wonton Baskets are irresistible, they pack the little baskets and the filling separate so you can make them to your liking and they are still when you have them crisp, simply divine.
The soups were Sweet Corn with Chicken and their signature Chicken Manchow, never can go wrong with these.
The Crispy Beef was a huge serving of crisp strips of beef tossed with chilies and onions with a sprinkling of peppers and tasted just right.
We had to get the Kung Pow Chicken, the chicken was tender and the crunch of the nuts excellent, it was lacking a bit of heat as one would usually expect.
The Golden Garlic Fired rice was great too, just a bit more garlic and some veggies would make it a stellar dish.
The Verdict
A great new addition to the Chinese food options in Abu Dhabi well worth a visit or a takeaway.
The menu is extensive, the food is good with huge portions and at an excellent price point, we are sure they will be doing really well.
The packaging is perfect and the delivery time was quiet fast so overall it was a good experience.
